About Me

I understand that the hope you have to lead a better life has brought you to my site. You are feeling stuck in a cycle and know there must be a way out, but so far, all the ways you have tried have not led you to where you want to be. I strongly believe in the life changing benefits of therapy. I want to make the process of finding the right therapist for you as easy as possible. Therapy is not a ‘quick fix’, but with the right therapist, a greater trust and safety is established, allowing you to enjoy the healing journey towards reaching your goals.

For those struggling with disordered eating, a team approach can often bring about the swiftest results in recovery. There are several different levels of care for treatment from eating disorders, including inpatient, day and outpatient programs. Many, for a variety of reasons, cannot dedicate the time to a structured program and the effort it takes to put together a team can be overwhelming. To address this need, I started Evolve Wellness, a group practice made up of some of the best clinicians in the Bay Area who specialize in eating disorder recovery. We provide individual, group, yoga and nutrition therapy utilizing evidence-based techniques. You can learn more about our group by visiting our website, www.evolvetherapy.org.

My Why

During my first psychology class in high school, I became intrigued by the science around human behavior and our thoughts and feelings. As I continued my education in college, I added more and more psychology classes and eventually made the switch from law.  From a young age, I cared deeply about helping others and was unsure where I would find a sense of fulfillment in my working life. I feel blessed and in gratitude daily to be in a career that I know is my calling.
